• Account information (name, email) via Clerk authentication
• Business details you provide in Settings (business name, phone, website)
• Proposal content you create (project details, client names, line items)
• Client information you enter (names, emails)
• Payment information processed through Stripe (we do not store card data)

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide the Intake service and generate proposals
• Send transactional emails (proposal delivery, signing notifications)
• Process payments through Stripe Connect
• Improve the AI proposal generation using your context settings

3. Data Sharing

We share data only with the services required to operate Intake:

• Clerk — authentication and user management
• Stripe — payment processing and Connect payouts
• OpenAI — AI proposal generation (proposal context only)
• Resend — transactional email delivery
• Neon — database hosting

We do not sell your data to third parties.

4. Client Data

When you send proposals to clients, their name and email are stored to facilitate the proposal workflow. Clients may view their signed proposals at any time via their unique proposal link.

5. Data Security

We use industry-standard security practices including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure authentication via Clerk, and access controls. Payment data is handled exclusively by Stripe and never stored on our servers.

6. Data Retention

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.

7. Cookies

We use cookies only as required for authentication (Clerk session cookies). We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
